Steve Hydes

Biography

Steve joined Findex in April 2018 as a Tax Advisory Manager and provides practical taxation advice on a wide range of tax issues. Prior to moving to a Specialist Tax Advisory role, he acquired 15 years of accounting and business advisory experience across an extensive range of clients and a broad range of sectors. This allows him to understand complex issues and outcomes from both a taxation perspective and an accounting/business perspective. Steve has a particular interest in agribusiness and enjoys working on the unique challenges associated with the sector. He successfully completed the Kellogg Rural Leadership Programme (Cohort K49) in 2023. While based in Dunedin, Steve provides specialist taxation support to a number of Findex offices around New Zealand.
