Biography
Craig is a Taxation Advisory Partner at Findex Invercargill and specialises in all aspects of GST and income tax. His experience spans a broad range of tax areas from sole traders to corporates. Craig’s specialty areas are cross-border tax issues, including tax residence, foreign investment funds, foreign trusts and double taxation agreements, property, agriculture, and GST issues. He is also a co-author of the Staples Tax Guide and GST in New Zealand.
Craig joined Findex from his role as Tax Director of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants (now Chartered Accountants ANZ). This role primarily involved leading the Institute’s direction and input on tax policy and overseeing the Institute’s Tax Advisory Group.
