IRD Payday Filing

22 March 2019
1 min read

Payday filing has been available since April 2018. Instead of filing an employer monthly schedule and deduction form (IR348 & IR345) every month, employers will file employment information every payday in line with their normal payroll cycle. From 1 April 2019 payday filing will become mandatory. Payment dates remain the same.

Inland Revenue is in the process of issuing information to online and paper-filing employers to remind them about this shift. Please review this link for more information.

From mid-September to mid-November IRD will be running payday filing seminars across the country for employers. Payroll practitioners should look to attend these, as IRD will be sharing information about payday filing and how to get prepared before April 2019.

Follow the link above to book your spot in one of these seminars.
