Biography

Daniel joined Findex in 2007 as a taxation specialist. Daniel works with many clients in New Zealand and offshore, to achieve the right outcomes in a variety of tax and commercial matters.

Working in Central Otago, Daniel has specialist experience in international investment, structuring, income tax and GST implications, property transactions and immigration issues.

Biography

Duncan is Fellow Chartered Accountant and the Managing Partner for the Central Otago region. He is the lead on corporate recovery and insolvency and has handled restructuring in the tourism, manufacturing, property, aquaculture, viticulture, agriculture and hospitality sectors. Duncan has a thorough understanding of business acquisitions and disposals, due diligence assignments, valuation assessments, business financing and taxation. Duncan also has extensive experience in governance and is a member of various boards of directors.

Rachel has been a member of the Findex Central Otago team for 15 years with experience in adventure tourism, hospitality and accommodation, local and central government services and business strategy.

Rachel has a passion for the outdoors and adventure activities with involvement in a number of sporting and community organisations as an active member, volunteer and various governance roles.

She is always looking to communicate with and add value to individuals and their businesses.

Vicky has been with Crowe Horwath since 2001. Prior to that Vicky was a Manager for a UK Multinational Company. She has extensive knowledge in hospitality, tourism, property investment and the building industry. Vicky focuses on improving client’s management, reporting and accounting systems. All of which is aimed at improving efficiencies and profits.

Charlie is a specialist workplace investigator and human resources consultant with over 10 years’ experience providing pragmatic guidance to businesses throughout Aotearoa, New Zealand and globally. Charlie can use her practical experience and knowledge as an employment and health and safety lawyer to assist in developing and implementing human resource strategies and policy. Charlie advises clients in a range of diverse industries such as tourism, agriculture and hospitality and enjoys delivering learning and development training to clients.

Biography

Jenna joined the Findex Team in February 2021 after moving to Queenstown with her family.  Prior to that she was a Senior Manager at Grant Thornton LLP in Canada and owned and operated her own business with her partner for several years.  These roles provided her the experience to assist clients in understanding complex matters when making important business decisions.   She enjoys working with a diverse range of clients and industries and has extensive experience in the building, tourism, and tech industries.

Sarah uses her practical experience, expert knowledge, and analytical approach to support clients with both their day-to-day decision making and the major transitions in their business journey.

Sarah brings over 15 years of experience advising a wide range of business owners, lenders, and other stakeholders with a focus on seeking practical solutions to some of businesses most challenging problems.

Sarah is passionate about helping clients in a wide range of industries gain insight into the drivers that build value in their business. She assists clients with financial modelling, forecasting, and project evaluation to bring clarity to the strategic planning process. Sarah specialises in attaining resolutions for businesses in distress, whether through restructuring or formal insolvency processes.
