Advisor: Tania Green

With 30 years' experience in public practice accounting, Tania is an Associate Partner at Findex Te Awamutu, bringing a wealth of technical expertise and a genuine, hands-on approach to helping clients get the best out of their accounting.

Tania holds a Bachelor of Business degree and is a Chartered Accountant with a Certificate of Public Practice through Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ). Early in her career, Tania spent time overseas in London working as a UK financial controller, gaining valuable international experience before returning to New Zealand to build a long-standing career in public practice.

Tania particularly enjoys working closely with clients to review their existing systems, processes and software, and to set up or improve these to better suit their needs — taking the time to educate clients along the way so they feel confident and in control of their own numbers. This extends to preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts, giving clients timely and meaningful financial information to guide their decision-making.

With first-hand experience owning both residential and commercial rental properties over the years, Tania has a strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities facing property investors and landlords, and enjoys supporting clients in this space.

Based in the heart of the Waikato rural community, Tania has extensive experience working with clients across the dairy, sheep and beef, and kiwifruit industries, understanding the unique financial and operational needs of these sectors.

Tania also brings specialist knowledge of the thoroughbred racing and breeding industry, working with a number of clients in this space, and has first-hand experience as an owner and breeder in racing syndicates.

Outside of client work, Tania is heavily involved in the local community, serving as treasurer and board member for a number of charities and clubs. She also still plays hockey socially and is an avid All Blacks fan, attending as many games as possible.
