Ira has approximately 20 years’ experience providing accounting and business advisory services to a diverse range of industries. She is particularly passionate about Maori business, manufacturing, IT and risk management. Ira enjoys working closely with key stakeholders within organisations, to ensure that they make informed decisions for the short and long-term. Over the years, Ira has used a variety of accounting packages including: MYOB, Banklink, SAP, Xero and many others. Her experience is such that she can advise organisations on which software will best suit their specific business needs. She is also a Trustee of the Anglican Insurance Board, Trustee and Deputy Chair for St Stephens and Queen Victoria Trust Board, and a Financial Advisor to Te Mihana Maori o Tamaki Makaurau and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher
Before joining Findex Wellington in 2000, Les developed his own management consultancy practice. Prior to this, Les gained substantial financial management, external audit and internal audit experience as a partner in KPMG and Arthur Andersen. He has extensive audit and advisory experience both in New Zealand and overseas.

Mike has over 20 years experience specialising in tax advisory and consulting. He has particular expertise in entity and project structuring, disputes processes, GST and indirect taxes. Mike leads our Wellington office tax group and is our New Zealand representative on the Crowe international indirect taxes group. Outside of work Mike enjoys family, golf, coaching kids and supporting start-up businesses.
Rochelle has been a tax advisor for over 25 years, beginning her career with one of the Big Four before living in Amsterdam. During her time in Europe she was the European Tax Manager for a NASDAQ-listed technology company. Rochelle provided tax advice across the group’s European entities and to the parent company based in Silicon Valley, California. Rochelle’s areas of expertise are international tax, GST, not-for-profits, pensions and inheritances.
Sharon has gathered broad experience and exposure in the accounting industry having worked in both public practice and commercial environments over the last 20 years. This has allowed her to accumulate a comprehensive range of technical competencies and develop a strong foundation of prudent financial management. Sharon is genuinely passionate about providing financial insight and thrives in engaging with multiple stakeholders to achieve timely and accurate results that enable businesses to make informed decisions.
Russell has been involved in all aspects of the business advisory field since 1985 with several years experience at Coopers & Lybrand before joining Findex in 1992. He has a vast cross section of skills and works extensively with a clients to provide commercial and practical advice. Russell has a specific passion for the motor vehicle industry, also specialising in financial analysis, business start-ups, business acquisitions and management accounting.
Mehreen has over 10 years of experience in providing Assurances services, both in New Zealand and United States. Mehreen is fully conversant on the statutory and financial reporting requirements within New Zealand and the United States. Mehreen has managed clients in various industries both in the for-profit and not for profit sector. Before joining Findex in 2017, Mehreen was an Assistant Controller of a mid-size Oil and Gas company in Houston, Texas.

Andrea joined Findex in 2014 as a taxation specialist with Big Four experience in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Andrea has advised and assisted a broad range of clients from multinationals to clients with rental properties and portfolios. She has a particular interest in complex areas of tax (e.g. financial arrangements) and enjoys debating the interpretation of legislation. Her specialist areas are foreign investment funds, portfolio investments, research and development tax claims, accounting for tax under IFRS, advising on tax residency and assisting clients to correct historical tax positions.
Joining Findex in 2000, Helen has over 30 years experience in the commercial sector and public practice. In the last 8 years Helen has been involved with small-to-medium sized businesses and not for profit organisations providing total accounting and tax solutions for people in business. She has specialist experience in health and pharmacy as well as hospitality and the trades.
